What is a typical day like?
The school day begins with indoor/outdoor playtime (weather permitting). The students kick balls, play with hula hoops, complete obstacle courses, and play fun games such as red light green light. They can venture inside to explore with building toys, crafts, and puzzles at the tables.
Next, students participate in circle time where they sing songs, participate in calendar, and practice letters, shapes, and colors. After washing hands, students enjoy their snack outside at the tables.
After snack students have playtime in the big play-yard. They dig for treasure in the sand, swing, ride bikes and chase bubbles. When they return to the classroom, students participate in enrichment activities which include crafts, stories, Spanish, science experiments and more.
Students finish the day by eating their lunch and then dancing and moving to fun songs!
